What Does Your Speech Say About You? Make a Powerful Vocal Impression

A fascinating presentation and active Q&A session is just wrapping up with speech language expert and dialect coach Jessica Kijowski Elson on “What Does Your Speech Say About You? Make a Powerful Vocal Impression,” with over 100 attendees filling Gramercy Suite.

Useful tips on improving presentations, including the all important reminder: be yourself! As the speaker observed, Once your preparation is …complete, your notes ready, now it’s time to be yourself! “Ultimately that’s what people relate to.”

A helpful take-away on how to improve your presentations: listen to your speech. Try recording a phone call to hear your natural speech. And remember, reading aloud is not the same as natural conversation. Many other ideas on improving presentations, communication style, and speech discussed.
